Mission Statement
Operation Rainbow Canada’s mission is to provide reconstructive surgery to indigent children in medically under-served areas of the world; to engage in education with physicians and nurses in order to enhance the level of care and to promote self-sufficiency within the countries served by the organization.
ORC’s vision of sustainable development includes training and teaching of local medical personnel. The transfer of skills of local personnel and the accompanying awareness of the various factors contributing to specific birth defects (cleft lip and cleft palate deformities) will result in long-term benefits for all citizens in the countries where ORC operates.
